Is Over Eating An Addiction?

A new servey as stated that over eating can be addictive as drugs according two thirds of the doctors who took part.                                                          Those questioned also said people who over eat should be treated in the same way as drug addics and alocoholics.

Over Eating isn't really an addiction.

Over eating can feel like an addiction because you can't stop eating, compulsive eating actually a self induced medical condition which you can reverse with a few easy life style changes.

When you are over eating all the time your body develops some thing called, Insulin Resistance, IR, it's a state that makes you eat more and more.

When we eat unhealthy foods, like sweets, fatty red meats, any thing with high sugar or fat content your body energy balance goes out the window.

Your blood sugar levels goes sky high and your body has to produce a lot more hormon insulin to bring those levels down.                                                  With the increase of high levels of insulin in your body makes you crave for more food, now you are cault up in a never ending circle as the more you eat the more you want to eat, the more food you eat the more your body pushes out hormon insulin, it's one vicious circle.

Result, you get fatter and fatter and can't stop eating, there is a health risk with this over weight problem.

Exercise:

Exercise every day, regular exercise makes your muscles work harder and in doing so brings down your body blood sugar levels , with lower blood sugar levels your body makes less insulin which in turn stops you feeling hungery.

You can keep your appetite under control by exercising daily, there's no need to go on ten mile runs or join gyms to control your weight, although it will take a bit of effort on your part the benefits are endless, walking, gardening, swimming, keep fit CD - DVD at home.

Exercising will burn off your unwanted calories which in turn help control your appetite, now with your appetite under control your body makes less hormon insulin and you break out of that vicious eating circle.

As dieting is very hard to stick too, you need to find away of exercising and eating more healthy food with less fat and sugar.
